What is Kermit on Tour?

Kermit on Tour is a hilarious photoblog of Kermit’s trips around the world. Back in 2005, Kermit spent some days in New York City together with some friends from the Netherlands. They posted some photos of this trip on a web forum. Many people liked it a lot, so we decided to create a website where we collect photos of our trips with Kermit. We have already visited a lot of places and we continue to travel around with Kermit. Even when we are not travelling, we take a lot of photos of Kermit at home and in the meantime, we even got some press coverage.

Who is Kermit?

Kermit is arguably the most famous frog on earth. His official name is Kermit, in other countries he is also called La Rana René, Gustavo, Kermit der Frosch, Kamel, Cócas o Sapo, or Grodan Kermit. He was the star and host of The Muppet Show, and played a significant role on Sesame Street. He continues to star in Muppet movies and make numerous TV appearances. Is this the real Kermit?

Well, of course our Kermit is real, but it is not the real Kermit known from the famous Muppet Show or Sesame Street. Our Kermit is just a puppet, although it is hard to believe when you look at some of our pictures.

Where can I buy this Kermit puppet?

You can buy a lot of different Kermit puppets, but unfortunately it looks like our model is not available anymore. We would love to get a backup Kermit (you know, for all the dangerous photos…), so if you happen to see a Kermit puppet which looks like ours, please let us know!

Who are Conny and Markus?

Conny and Markus are the creators of the Kermit on Tour website. We try to travel with Kermit as often as possible to show him all the wonderful places around the world.
