We just came back from a trip to Austria. We saw sheeps and cows, walked through an impressve canyon and spent a wonderful weekend in the Alps.
Right after crossing the border to Austria, we took this photo opportunity
in front of a typical Austrian guesthouse.
Kermit looked at a map and tried to find out where we were.
We bought a typical Austrian hat for Kermit and took a picture
of him in front of the mountains.
On our way through the numerous valleys Kermit saw some sheeps.
“Hey buddies, come here.”
“Meeheehehehee…” – Kermit had no clue what that meant.
Our hotel was on the alp and we did another stop on the way up …
… to enjoy the great view.
Finally we arrived at our hotel …
… which was located on the “Emberger Alm”
(1750 m above sea level).
In the afternoon we went hiking.
We came into a forest and Kermit started to search for mushrooms.
First he found a small one…
…and then he spotted a really big one.
“Wow, this one is really huge!”
On the next morning it was very foggy. Kermit was shocked.
“Conny, Markus come here -
you can’t even see the other houses around!”
An hour later the weather got better and
we decided to go on an excursion.
On our way down we saw some cows. Kermit was excited.
We even stopped so that Kermit could take a closer look at the cows.
Finally we arrived at the Ragga Canyon.
On the way down to the canyon…
… we saw a small waterfall.
When we came into the canyon, Kermit was a little bit scared,
because the stairs were very narrow.
“Conny – take a picture of Markus and me!”
Kermit had to stop several times to look at the enormous waterfall.
It was a quite slippery way.
Conny was also overwhelmed.
At the end of the canyon we took this
nice picture of Kermit in front of
the waterfall.
It was an exhausting excursion and Kermit was very hungry in
the evening. He tried a tradionial Austrian dessert:
Kaiserschmarrn (cut-up and sugared pancakes with raisins).
On our evening stroll a tourist shot this picture of us.
The next morning Kermit was wakened by the sun.
“Ahhh, what a wonderful day!”
A perfect day to collect some
flowers on a little walk.
“This one looks good! It’s green like me!”
There were so many flowers, Kermit could not
decide which ones to take.
Then Kermit saw another cow…
… which spotted Kermit and approached him.
“Oh oh – maybe I should run…”
When Kermit was out of reach of the cow, he needed to rest.
Afterwards we went to a river.
Kermit loved the clear and cool water.
He threw some stones…
…and we were impressed how far away he threw them.
Before we went back home, Kermit wrote a message into the sand.
Back at the alp Kermit enjoyed the beautiful view.
Another tourist took this picture of ourselves.
As it was our last evening in Austria,
we took another snapshot of Kermit.
Before we went to bed, Kermit took a last look on the mountains.

Hello the 3 of you

I loved all the pictures (I thought we were the only ones who took muppets on vacation, haha).
We took Animal and Rizzo to Denmark and they had the time of their lives
