Kermit is back from his vacation in the Joshua Tree National Park, which is located in the desert approximately 100 miles east of Los Angeles.
With his own ticket, Kermit waited for boarding.

Is there our luggage somewhere?
Kermit looked out for other planes.
Finally it was time for take off…
… and Kermit was very scared.
As soon as we were in the air, Kermit enjoyed the spectacular view.
After a short while he ordered his favorite drink:
Orange Juice on the Rocks.
Then he was able to relax for the rest of the flight.
After we have arrived, we drove as fast as possible to the
Joshua Tree National Park. Kermit was almost flying.
Kermit in front of the entrance sign of the park.
After the long journey he took a deep breath of fresh air.
First he tried to get an overlook.
There were so many interesting things to see.
And he was happy to be in the desert again.
Kermit had a short rest in the sun …
… before we started to explore the cactus garden.
“OUCH!”
These cactuses are really huge.
Since it was already too late we wanted Kermit to come to the car …
… and when he didn’t come we had to carry him.
In the evening we arrived at the motel.
Kermit was very hungry, so he prepared some flies for dinner.
He was happy to have his own bed for the night.
On the next day he could not wait to go back to the Joshua Tree Park.
It was 116° F, so Kermit was looking for a place in the shadow.
Another big cactus.
Kermit tried to climb on a large rock.
It wasn’t that easy …
… but finally he made it.
After so much climbing, Kermit got hungry and tried some greens.
“Yummie”
“This was delicious.”
Afterwards we took a picture of him and his lunch.
Later, he had fun sliding down the rocks.
Finally, we saw Joshua Trees.
Not only the Joshua Trees are big …
Kermit also saw a huge dragonfly.
It was soooooooooo big!
After a short hike …
… Kermit was hungry again.
He really likes Joshua Trees.
At the end of the day, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

That was a great trip to Joshua Tree National Park! Loved the photo of Kermit sitting in the Joshua Tree! Kermit can eat almost anything! That is so good when you are out in the middle of nowhere and there are no restaurants! Great album! Katherine
