As already announced, Conny, Markus and I travelled to Australia. It was winter in Germany and we were happy to fly into the Australian summer. Our first stop was Melbourne on the south-east coast, where we spent a couple of days in the city and then travelled on to see Philip Island and the famous Great Ocean Road.
A few days after Markus and Conny’s wedding they started their honeymoon and of course I joined them. We spent a few days in Singapore, which really is an amazing city. It was very interesting to see all the different cultures and neighborhoods, the delicious food, the different temples and so many other things.
Recently we spend a weekend in London and Kermit came with us to explore the city. Although it was just a short-trip, we saw the most important sights and Kermit even had some time for shopping.
We just came back from a trip to Austria. We saw sheeps and cows, walked through an impressve canyon and spent a wonderful weekend in the Alps.
After some relaxing days at the beach and the hotel pools, we did another excursion. This time, we visited a gorgeous butterfly garden, a waterfall and we also saw more rice terraces.
After a few days in Singapore Markus and Conny continued their honeymoon trip and flew to Bali, a wonderful island of Indonesia. We enjoyed the beauty of the island, wonderful weather, a great beach and we also did some interesting excursions.
A few months ago, Conny, Markus and I spent a couple of days in San Francisco. We saw some wonderful places in the city, made a stop at the beach and then we had a great tour to the wineries in Napa and Sonoma Valley.
Markus and I decided to spend a weekend together with friends in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Kermit did not want to stay at home so he joined us. The weather was a bit cold, but we had a great time nonetheless.
Kermit visited Connies family for the Christmas days. He spent some time on the Christmas market in Schwerin (in the north-eastern part of Germany), to drink some hot spiced wine and eat some chocolate fruits. Afterwards he spent Christmas at home with Markus, Conny and the family and took a picture together with Connies grandma.
Last summer, Conny, Markus, and I spent two wonderful days in Rome. It was our first visit in this beautiful city, so we were very curious to see all the historic sites.
