Kermit in Kermit, Texas
This time I was extremely excited about the trip, because we were bound to the city of Kermit, Texas. I heard that there is even a street named after me. No question, we had to go there! We flew to Dallas and from there we started a 7 hour road trip right into the West Texas Desert.
On our way to Kermit, we pased through Wink, a tiny city not far away from Kermit. It seems they have more old broken cars than people living there.
We continued the drive to Kermit. After a couple of miles we made a brief stop.
This was a very special trip for us and I cannot believe that it took us so long to finally visit Kermit. Now I am wondering if there is a city called ‘Piggy’ somewhere…

Wow a new story! Nice!
Thanks for that – I didn’t even know that such a place existed but lovely that it does. My fav was the water tower………..B:)
I guess when people talk about going on a walkabout and finding themselves you can say you really did that :)
I can’t believe you actually went to GOD’S country, as we called it. I didn’t see all the sandhills surounding!!

This was a “Kermit Everywhere” trip!
In Latin América, Kermit Frog is known as “La Rana René”. His name is changed from “Kermit” to “René”. Freaky.
