Maybe you remember Kermit’s last trip to New York City with his friends from the Netherlands some years ago. There were so many things to see, so he decided to go there again.
Kermit was so excited to fly to New York that he arrived at the airport early. As he had not eaten this morning he tried one of the sunflower pretzels.
After 8 hours flight and 1 hour drive we arrived at our hotel. First Kermit had to try if the bed was ok.
Then we went on to the Staten Island Ferry to have a look on the Statue of Liberty and enjoy the view of the Manhatten Skyline.
Our next stop was the Rockefeller Center. In a couple of weeks there will be this huge Christmas Tree and everyone will be skating on the big skating rink.
The weather was nice, so we decided to go onto the Empire State Building. The entrance hall was already amazing and now we are going onto the observation deck in the 85 floor.
After so much walking and climbing Kermit needed new shoes. We went to Nike Town to see what new designs they had.
Not far away was the Trump Tower and Kermit wanted to see if there was really a waterfall running down the walls. “It’s true!”
Kermit had never seen something like this before. It was so exciting for him that he didn’t want to go back to the hotel.
At the airport the Christmas time had already begun. “Maybe this year I will get all the presents I want.”
