Kermit on Iceland

Iceland was on top of the list for my travels this year. I finally made it up to the north and enjoyed some wonderful days in a great scenery.

From the airport, we went straight to our cabin.

Somewhere there must be this famous Gullfoss waterfall. Let’s go there!

We are nearly there. What a great view!

Finally we made it!

Ugh, it’s soooo loud here!

Wow, that’s an amazing waterfall!

I can barely hear anything!
The trip to the waterfall was really worth it, but it was time to head back to the cabin.

After the long hike back, I had to relax a bit.

I was hungry and checked the phone book…

…but I didn’t find any restaurant which serves flies.

The next day started bright and sunny and we decided to visit the famous Blue Lagoon.

On the way we encountered some stone sculptures.

We also saw some geysers – this one didn’t eject any water though.

This one was much better – and I also met a Hippo-friend.

We continued the hike to the Blue Lagoon, but after all these exciting geysers, I had to rest a while.

The landscape became darker and darker…

…and a little later we arrived at the lagoon.

Amazing, the water is really incredibly blue and warm.

What a nice place!

As it was time to leave Iceland…

…I waved goodbye to our neighbors at the cabin.
